Product Description
1/18 BBR 1965 Ferrari 500 Superfast Series II (Dark Green) Resin Car Model Limited 108 Pieces
The 500 Superfast is a sports car built by Ferrari from 1964 to 1966 in two series
Shown to the public for the first time at the 1964 Geneva Motor Show, it was the last Ferrari model built in a very limited series for selected customers. In fact, the plants of the Maranello car manufacturer were increasingly converting to line production. 36 examples were built, plus a 330 GT 2+2 with the body design of the 500 Superamerica, delivered to Prince Bernard of the Netherlands. Other famous buyers of this expensive model (its price was twice that of a Rolls-Royce) were Peter Sellers and Mohammad Reza Pahlavi. Of the first series, 25 were built, while of the second, which appeared in 1965, 12 were built.
The maximum speed reached by the model was 280 km/h.
The most striking difference between the first and second series is the side air intake, this model car is made exclusively in Italy, by qualified personnel with twenty years of experience.
