Brand New In Box 1/18 BBR Ferrari F40 Sultan Brunei Grey Resin Car Model Limited
In 1992 the production of the famous Ferrari F40 ended, with 1315 units produced. Ferrari had also churned out more than the initial edition of 400, given the very high demand.
The official story also has it that they were all Rosso Corsa color, as well as left-hand drive. But, as happens with the most important historical events, there are legends surrounding the reality that sometimes prove to be well founded.
For example, there are those who say that the Sultan of Brunei had at least 6, each of a different color; some say they were even 10, moreover they all drive on the right. The most reliable source seems to be the famous Talacrest dealership, which speaks of 7 cars; specimens that would not be modified later, but produced according to the specifications of the Sultan, a client so important that he received a very special treatment - on his whims.
For example, to the horror of purists, that gorgeous anthracite gray F40 with red stripe hid the interior of the Testarossa, complete with leather, air conditioning and electric windows. But when it is too much and too much and in fact it seems that Ferrari did not accept; therefore, the work would have been done by Pininfarina, as was the right-hand drive conversion itself.
Here is the original GUN Metal gray color, with red stripe.
