1/43 BBR 1963 Ferrari 250 Lusso (Metal Silver) Resin Car Model
The Ferrari 250 GTL or 250 GT / L is a luxury sports car (hence the L in the name) of the Italian manufacturer Ferrari. The car was produced from 1962 until 1964 in 350 copies.
This is a berlinetta that came out of Pininfarina's pencil and built by the Scaglietti body shops. It is unveiled at the Paris Motor Show with a lavish presentation, ideally in keeping with the nature of the car. It is then exhibited in its final version in Turin, further accentuating the elegant soul of an exclusive product.
This model was conceived mainly for road use, nevertheless the first GT Lusso produced chassis 4213GT was used in competitions. Only three examples were immediately used in competitions. These 3 cars are called 250 GT / L Competizione.
The bodywork has an elegant and streamlined line, very harmonious, the front part took up some stylistic elements of the SWB, enriched by the original 3-piece bumper, the line continues sinuously with the large pavilion and ends with a refined tail that recalls that of the 250 GTO even if with a more reduced and refined spoiler. The car is finely cared for and enriched with chrome plating, the passenger compartment is immediately distinguished by the attention to detail: the manufacturer, in fact, makes extensive use of leather for the dashboard and seats, leather for belts and other details, wood for inserts and finishes. . The desire was clearly to create something that could combine the sporting nature of a Ferrari with a real living room.
This model car is produced in our Saronno workshop and accompanied by a lifetime warranty certificate
