At the 24 Hours of Daytona in 1967, Ferrari placed three cars on the podium in the first race of the World Sports Prototype Championship: the 330 P3/4, the 330 P4 and the 412P which paraded under the flag chess perfectly embodied the spirit of the Sports Prototypes of the 60s, the golden era of covered-wheel motor racing. The Ferrari Daytona SP3, the second car to join the limited edition Icona segment, pays homage to those mid-rear-engined Ferrari V12 Sports Prototypes that made the brand enter motorsport legend.
Our 1/12 scale Ferrari SP3 Daytona was born from a project developed entirely in Italy.
The new latest generation 3D printers gave life to the prototype.
