1/18 ACME 1965 Ford Mustang A/FX Larsen Ford Long Gone (Red) Diecast Car Model
Prepared and driven by Bob Hamilton, the cammer powered, Holman-Moody built Long Gone A/FX Mustang was a top attraction on the northeastern match race circuit. It was later campaigned as the “Jersey Rattler”, running as quick as 10.05 at 136 MPH in the Competition Racing Association’s C/Altered class. One of thirteen H-M Mustangs built and one of only five known to survive. Of those remaining five cars, this is believed to be the only one whose wheelbase was not returned to stock in order to comply with 1966 NHRA rules changes.
