Product Description
1/18 BBR 1972 Ferrari Dino 246 GTS Show Car (Rosso Corsa 322 Red) Car Model
After the debut of the Ferrari Dino 246 GT in 1969, the need arose to also offer a spider version. At the 1972 Geneva Motor Show, the public welcomed the newcomer with favor. The success is demonstrated by the numbers: of the approximately 4,000 246 GTs produced, 1,200 were in the spider version.
The Ferrari Dino 246 GT brought many changes compared to its ancestor, the 206 GT, especially under the hood: the engine block, abandoning aluminum, was made entirely of cast iron.
A fundamental characteristic of this car is the removable roof and the Daytona-style seats, a complex process made with many small strips of leather.
