- From the start, Ford offered its successful Mustang not only as a coupé but also as a convertible. For the 1966 model year, the model underwent a few changes - the most obvious being three horizontal ribs on the side trim panels and a slightly modified radiator grille.Signal Flare Red was one of the most popular colors on the Mustang. Combined with the black interior, it soon cited European automotive taste. And is probably one of the sportiest colour combinations on this iconic vehicle.

1:18 NOREV 65 Mustang Convertible
First off, NOREVs have to be the best value of cost vs accuracy/authenticity in 1:18 models. I only paid the more typical $110 for mine - so $219 must be due to tarrifs! Not NOREV's best effort, but still the best 65/66 Mustang available. I wonder if the coupe is still available. Surprised there is no carpeting. Its biggest flaw is front ride height is too high - this is fixable with some surgery. This model sold out almost immediately, maybe that explains the price hike. A fabulous model for around $110 in the US. A hard pill to swallow at $219. I'm glad I got mine at the former lower price. It is very hard to find!
