Carlos Sainz finished in third place at the Monaco GP, the eighth round of the 2024 Formula 1 world championship. The Spaniard can be happy after the puncture in the first laps of the race. Helped by the accident between the riders at the back of the group, he resumed the race in third position after the red flags. Finally he got on the podium thanks to his good race pace on a track that traditionally makes overtaking difficult.
This edition is to be remembered for the success of the other Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc, the first from Monegasque on his home circuit, where he had started from pole position twice before without finishing the race.
