Product Description
The Porsche 917 KH was presented for the first time at the Geneva Motor Show in 1969. The Porsche 917 established itself as a big surprise in 1970 and, thanks to the twelve-cylinder 5.0 litre V-engine with an output of 600 hp, was able to take the overall title for the first time. The KH stands for short tail, as the original version of the 917 was modified to deliver better performance on the racetrack. For example, by shortening the rear end, it was possible to increase the width of the 917 so that wider tyres could be fitted, resulting in better handling.
