Product Description
1/8 Ixo 2003 Subaru Impreza S9 WRC #7 WRC Champion 555 Subaru WRT Petter Solberg, Phil Mills Model Kit
The Subaru Impreza WRC is a rally car based on the road version of the Subaru Impreza. The Impreza WRC was first used in 1993 in Finland and won a total of 6 world championship titles as well as 3 drivers' titles and 3 mechanics' titles. The 2003 WRC made its debut in 2003 at the Monte Carlo Rally. The vehicle used the look of the new road version of the Impreza released the year before. The change to the headlights is striking. Technically, the turbocharger was revised and the engine technically adapted. The modifications were intended to deliver more torque at lower revs. The body has lost some weight for the 2003 WRC model, as well as gaining rigidity. The Subaru was driven to the world championship title by Petter Solberg. The team's second driver was Tommi Mäkinen.
