Product Description
1/18 BBR 1966 Ferrari 365 California Geneva Motor Show S/N 08347 (Metallic Blue) Car Model
Version never produced by BBR, unpublished version with very particular matt white interiors.
Presented at the 1966 Geneva Motor Show, it is one of the most successful examples of an Italian-style open-top car. Pininfarina dressed the refined mechanics of the over four-liter V12 with a car body of rare elegance and balance, making it the reference model for the high-performance spider/luxury category. The high price and exclusive image destined it to an elite market: only fourteen examples were produced.
Chassis number 08347 was the prototype of the series and was built on a type 571 chassis, usually used for the 330 GT 2+2.
As on the 500 Superfast, the 365 California was equipped with exclusively made rear light clusters: their design was rather angled as it had to follow the line of the tail, and they were equipped with three round lights surrounded by reflective material.
