The 2022 Bahrain Grand Prix was the first round of the 2022 Formula 1 world championship season. The race was held on Sunday 20 March at the Manama circuit and was won by Monegasque Charles Leclerc in a Ferrari; Leclerc preceded his teammate, the Spaniard Carlos Sainz at the finish, with a stupendous one-two finish, first and second place overall, which had been missing for several years.
