Product Description
A special livery to rediscover two colours, part of Ferrari's history for years. A unique livery created only for the Miami GP. The SF-24 was painted two shades of blue. Azzurro La Plata was Alberto Ascari's lucky charm in his most successful seasons. Dino Blue, the darkest color of the uniforms of the Maranello workers, was also used for the last time on Regazzoni's overalls in 1974.
On the racing car competing in Miami, the strokes of blue are visible on the wings, on the engine cover, on the halo, on the mirrors, on the race numbers. The historical quote on the wheels is inevitable, as it was on the F1 single-seater of the Prancing Horse in the 1960s starting with the 158 F1 with which John Surtees won the world title in 1964. The drivers also wear helmets and overalls for the occasion blues on the track.
The race, the sixth of 2024, took place on the Miami International Autodrome street circuit. The weekend begins on Saturday 4 May with the second Sprint Race of the season; immediately 12 points forfeited by the Ferrari team thanks to Leclerc's second place and Sainz's fifth. Qualifying was also positive with an encouraging second and third position on the grid. In the race, Charles ensures the podium for the reds, shortly behind comes his teammate Sainz, fourth at the finish line (then relegated to fifth by the race commissioners).
